Hey guys... I'm a sophomore and will be studying for the DAT this time next summer. My question is that my major is Biomedical Sciences but it doesn't require any anatomy. Do you guys think it would be smart to go ahead and add anatomy & phys. I in the fall and II in the spring just to help me on the DAT? Thanks in advance!

I wish I had taken anatomy and physiology before taking the DAT, since it will help you a lot. I remember a few questions on my bio section that I would have known if I had taken the class. Im sure these concepts are in your gen bio text as well. Also schools like to see that you have taken these classes since they will help you in dental school when you are taking them again.

God yes. It was a life saver. You dont have to study half as much when you have taken A AND P. You can concentrate more on weaker subjects like OCEHM (17)!!!!! I studied for bio the least got a 23 on the BIO.

I just got done taking physiology on a graduate level, and looking at the bio review in kaplan is like a walk in the park... If you got the time, and energy to do it, then do so. Or else, just spend your time focusing on the DAT...

Alright... thanks alot for the info guys. It might be a tough load if I add A & P each semester... but sounds like it would be worth it. Thanks and good luck!
