Should I take anatomy and physiology part 2 if I am already working in a research lab?

Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you could possibly direct me into a direction.

So I graduated from college last year with a B.S. in biology. I took anatomy and physiology part 1 last semester and got an A-. Well, come spring semester, I am debating on whether to take anatomy and physiology part 2 or not. The reason is because after my dad's death, my family has mountain of medical bills we have to pay and although I technically would be able to pay to take the course, I do not know if that is the smartest choice considering my financial status.

I just don't want dental schools to think I am a quitter and personally I just think it looks bad. I hate myself for putting myself in this position. And honestly depression is at a all time high right now.

Well, I am currently working in a research lab where I am heavily involved. I am constantly reading up on the research and I am learning a lot. I am wondering if you guys think this will be enough to say/excuse myself from taking the anatomy and physiology 2. Financially I feel like the money would help out a lot.

Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

A & P isn't even a pre-req for any school I can think of.

Yes, but I keep on hearing it is a good course to have.

Here is what I am doing currently:

Working at the research lab at a university institution, volunteering at a elementary school and teaching basic nutrition to the kids, and shadowing.
