Should I take DAT again?

I applied 15 schools this cycle (updated on 9/6 from complete to under/review)
,but still haven't heard anything from any school.
I dont't think I can get good score in RC even though I retake it.🙁 (International applicant)

We are in a similar position. We have a similar GPA and DAT and I still did not hear anything. I am a bit concerned. My friend who submitted at the same time I did already heard back from three schools. I am thinking about retaking the DAT.

Your score is great, well 16 is not that bad because you did so well in the other sections, call up the schools to see what advice they'll give you.

I think your stats are great as well so I'm surprised you haven't heard from schools. How are your EC's and shadowing?

I have no good EC experiences, That's why I did't get interview offers so far (including my RC score)
I did about 70 hours shadowing, I have over 1000 community service experience but no research experiences at all. I also did my military service over 2 years.( Not U.S. military though)

Those sounds like pretty good EC's in my book.

To be honest, i think you haven't received any interview offers becasuse you applied so late. Keep the faith and stick with you DAT for now.

If you don't get in this year, a DAT retake may be in question, but for now be patient!! Good luck!!

I think youll be accepted sometime this cycle. I personally think adcoms will eventually look past your 16rc bc all your other scores r good. Just wait it out. But yea if u dont get in this cycle i would 1st call schools and ask if u NEED a retake due to rc, dont just retake it and potentially ruin ur other sections. the 'problem' may be you applied 'late' may not be ur dat at all.

No I don't think you should retake.. your score is great.
And your ECs look decent as well

I think the reason you are not getting any invite is probably because you are an international applicant.
It's generally more difficult for international applicants to get into the dental school.

but your gpa is great (assuming you didn't do many of your prereqs in cc) so I still think you have a good chance this cycle.
A lot of people are getting interviews right now so you may hear some good news in a week or two.
