Hey all! So I'm a biology major planning on going to medical school and I wanted to know if taking instrumental analysis next semester would look good for applying to medical school? I took quantitative analysis this semester for a chemistry minor and am interested in analytical chemistry. Was instrumental hard, interesting, worth it?

If you like it, take it. Medical schools want to see good grades in all classes, although challenging courses are better of course. You should focus on doing well instead of wondering how it will "look" to medical schools - they care about way too many other things.

That being said, instrumental analysis was boring as hell and you should probably only take it if its required for your minor or you plan on going into research.
