As the title reads: Should I take Step 1 as an OMS applying ObGyn?

For background context:

• 3rd quartile student
• I have presented several posters on sexual and reproductive health research and have a handful of manuscripts in the works
• Clinical experience includes 2 years working as medical assistant for an ObGyn
• I do have geographic preferences for residency
