Should I take the USMLE?

I'm looking at applying to an allopathic FP residency in Kansas that accepts the COMLEX. However, I scored in the 20th percentile on the COMLEX and am worried that I won't look as competitive as I would like. Should I take the USMLE? Or are FP residencies noncompetitive enough that it wouldn't matter?
