Should I take TOEFL or not?

I am an internation student and I recently found out that some of the schools that

I have applied require TOEFL score higher than 100 out of 120.

Those schools are USC, UDM so far.

I have applied to

UPenn
Columbia
NYU
Temple
UDM
USC
UCLA
UCSF
UoP
Western
Loma Linda
Case
ASDOH
Midwestern (AZ)
Harvard
UConn
U Michigan
Buffalo
U Maryland
U Pittsburgh

Should I just drop those two schools? Or Should I study for TOEFL for about more than 1 month to get 100 or higher?
I am not a Canadian
Will I be able to get into the school even if I drop those two schools?
Dilemma...................................

🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

By the way, I've already sent checks to those two schools.

$145 for USC and $75 for UDM I beleive

If you can't get it waived just take the damn test. It isn't hard to crack 100.

If I were you, I would get off this forum and study 16 hours a day for the next 3 months for the TOEFL.

You might not get in anywhere with only a 3.8GPA and 23AA/30PAT.

What if you only got into 2 schools and it's UDM and USC? You'll be banging your head on the table every waking second.

You can take the test after only a week of studying. It's not hard.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

yeah.. the person like you must study more than 3 months, 16 hours a day to pull >100

How sad....

Also why are you always so cynical to my thread?

Are you jealous because some radom internation student has better grade and better DAT score?

Are you jealous because I got 30 on PAT? 🙄

grow up kiddo. World is big, and there are 10000000000s of people who are simply better and smarter than you

In your list, I see 11 schools I am going to apply. I would check if you can waive the TOEFL score. I am not sure but you can waive the score at UDM.

I hope you're a Seventh Day Adventist if you're applying to Loma Linda. You know this, right?

No need to get all defensive Yoon. You should always go the extra mile to make sure that you pass the test. I hope we can agree that the more studying you do for the TOEFL, the more likely you will pass the test.

Did you aim for a 18 in PAT? I hope you didn't because that would have made you an average applicant. You aimed for 30 and you got 30, so I commend you for that. I can only control what I can do, and even though my PAT pales in comparison, I do believe it to be competitive for dental school.

Aim for a perfect score on the TOEFL and report back to this thread on how you did. A detailed breakdown would be nice too, as it will help others who have to take it. Good luck.
