230 on NBME 11, a month ago. Looking into anesthesia or IM, USMLE goal is 220.

Not a clue...I don't know anything about scores needed to get into programs nor where to find them. Seems like the only publicized #'s are for the elite programs..not everyday joe programs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to go to some POS community hospital program in the middle of nowhere. What are the chances of getting into anesthesia with a score of 200?

also looking for some advice, already took comlex, usmle scheduled for next week, have not taken any nbmes yet but got a 230 on uwsa #1, have already started rotations so studying hasn't been so productive...
what do you guys think?
Take an nbme asap, check out pholstons recent post on them in the step 1 thread, he put up a good comparison of predictions with nbme vs Uwsa. For reference I got a 254 on Uwsa1 and 260 on uwsa2 followed by a 240ish on nbme13 and 233 on 15. Don't know my usmle yet and taking comlex tomorrow so can't give you much more advice then that.

I would like to point out, that data is for US AMG.
Not positive, probably near one of my last posts in the thread which would be easier to search, I don't post very often.
Would have been around the 20th of June probably

Cranial I was just saying that if you are getting 200s, that will give you a good shot at matching anesthesiology (presumably those people applied to less desirable programs?). Hobo Cmdr asked what chances were of matching anesthesiology residency with 200 so I found that data from. Obviously higher is better but its still not bad.
You realize a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) is NOT an Anesthesiologist, right?
I think he was being a smart a@@.
Anesthesia FTW!!

According to charting outcomes- A score above 200 gives you about ~90% chance of matching somewhere in anesthesiology.I don't think the data is right. No way does 87% of those who score 200 get into anesthesiology.
