Should I tell them what other schools I am applying to?

Ok, so a DO school (not gonna mention its name) is asking me to list all the professional schools I am applying to this year. Should I list them all? I don't want them to feel that they are not my top choice since I have 10 other DO programs and 5 MD programs on my list.

While I've not heard of this requirement, and probably would just not apply there......

If you are applying you can either tell the truth, or lie and risk getting rejected.

Do you really think they are so dumb to believe they are every applicant's top choice?

Yes. Give them all the informationthey ask for. Then be prepared for the interview question about why you want to go to that specific school. Most med schools assume applicants apply broadly. From another perspective how would it look to put down only that school on the list you send back of places you are applying? They will either think you are lying or way overconfident.

They did ask me on the OSU secondary. I applied to 12 DO and 9 MDs. During my interview it came up, and one of my interviewers said it was a good idea that I was applying to both MD and DO's and that I made a smart move lol, so it worked out. Most med schools know that its difficult to get into med school (both allopathic and osteopathic), so just be honest
