Should I Update Schools Myself?

Hey Everyone,

First off Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!

One of my professors for a P/NP class is taking forever to process grades and it's holding up my transcript from being processed.

I know that the Academic Update is open until February but I wanted to find out if I should reach out to school to tell them about how I did in my classes for this last semester.

Is it a good idea to send schools and e-mail and tell them about my grades for this semester because my Academic Update is going to be submitted later than other applicants?

Detroit Mercy told me during the interview to send them an email listing my grades as soon as i know them (specifically physics). While also telling me, if my official transcript is different they hold the right to revoke an acceptance.

So yes send an email update. It may help and I do not see any negatives...
