I'm an MS2 in an accelerated preclinical program who will be taking Step 1 in March of 2019. I currently have the 2017 version of First Aid. I was wondering if I should upgrade to the 2018 version? I haven't made that many annotations in my current copy of FA, so it wouldn't be too difficult to make the switch. Thanks!

Honestly, it really isn't going to make a difference. The changes made from year-to-year aren't going to make or break you in terms of board scores. An annotated copy with corrected errata is the most important part. I came from a med school with an accelerated curriculum and ended up upgrading to the most recent version. Waste of my time and money. There were plenty in my class who didn't who did just fine.

This. Just make sure check errata. The differences from year to year are pretty insignificant.
