Should I volunteer?

I am a junior at college and am confused if this is a waste of my time or not. Basically I have 4-5 dead hours in between my classes on campus so I decided to volunteer. Currently it just consists me of going to neurosurgery department of my university's hospital and doing paperwork for about 4-5 hours a week. I am applying in June and have been doing it since beginning of this calender year. I have worked in the hospital for work-study my freshman year doing much the same stuff, have shadowed and researched and have other volunteer clubs I'm involved with, so this isn't my only exposure to the hospital or community service.

Is it worth it to continue to spend 4 hours a week of my life for this, just to list it on my activities even though I am not really gaining anything from it and it is quite boring. (Although all the people are super nice)

It may not be clinical experience, but it is a useful community service.

is it soley paperwork? are you learning anything important? if not, i dont think it's worth it. it seems u have other wortwhile activities already.
