Should i wait to apply? Help!!

I am retaking one of my prereq's right now as a summer course and am wondering if I should wait to apply in August, when my course is done, so they can see the updated course grades OR should I just apply now and hope that they ask me for my summer grades (IF i get an interview)? PLEASE HELP!!

If you choose to wait until you're done with the class, then your application might not be complete until September which is somewhat late.
It will take time for your school to send an updated transcript, and it will take time for AADSAS to process that.

In my opinion, it's not worth it so apply now but then again I don't know what your situation is (what class you are retaking, what grade you had).

Its general bio. I got a D+ both semesters and am retaking it to raise my sgpa. My ogpa is 3.1 right now and my sgpa is a 2.77.
I know I'm taking a big chance by applying but I don't want to think that I could've or should've...

Have you calculated what your science GPA will be after you retake the class and get an A?

2.77 is below the cutoff for many schools, and holding for that one class only to find that your sci GPA increased by maybe 0.05 pts makes waiting not worth it. It really depends though, if your sci GPA increases > 3.0 after retaking then yes you should wait.

All schools average the retake and original.

Not all schools. I know one school in specific that recalculates sci gpa for applicants and they only count the retake. So I think this is a school specific question. Some do but I don't know how many, and I'm sure others average both.
