I'm applying for Pain Fellowship in December. Starting to gather LORs.

I know for Residency it is highly suggested to waive right for LORs. Does this carry over for fellowship apps as well? I presume it does...

Thx,

It carries over for college, medical school, residency, fellowship, and all other applications you can ever fill out.

A LOR that you don't waive your right to see is considered potentially compromised.

That said, your writers can still show you the letters, you just can't require them to if you waive your right.

When we get unwaived letters they almost immediately go into the trash. There's no way to confirm authenticity.
