Hi everyone...

I really need advice.

I just came back from testing and I got a 17TS/16AA/17PAT. Obviously, I'm not happy with my performance. I'm beyond depressed. I really thought I was going to do better. If I had a gun, I would shoot myself right now. But I don't, so don't take me seriously. I'm just feeling so down right now.

I'm a rising college senior. Currently, my cummulative GPA is 3.46 and my science is 3.03. This was my first time taking the DAT. The Kaplan review course and materials were all I used to prepare. I definitely regret not spending the money on additional study materials.

I know my scores are going to get sent to the 5 free schools from the ADA application. I'm not going to bother sending my scores to the other 4 schools I applied to. Because what's the point?

The earliest retake for me is in 3 months, which puts me in November. Is that way too late to try?

I think I should withdraw my application for the 2009 cycle. Is this my best option?

Post this in the other Pre-dental forum. Ask others. Maybe November is not to late for the schools that you are applying to.
good luck

i think you would need to really have good scores to take it that late..

how were you doing on the kaplan tests, and how long did you study for?

Isn't hindsight great. Why withdraw when you already suspect what the outcome is going to be.
