Should I worry about my sample score or was this just a fluke?

I only took two AAMC FLs so far -- Sample and FL1. I personally thought FL1 was much more doable and easier than sample (It might be because I used NS FLs before)
And... I scored 7 points higher on FL1 and I am just wondering why that was the case.

I am not mentioning the full scores because I don't care about what I score on FLs. But I am worried that I might be missing a skill set that is required for the MCAT.

I personally thought the sample test was a bit wonky. Depending on how much studying you did between the two tests, you might have had improvement from content review. Your real score will most likely be what the average of all of your AAMC FLs +/- 5 points.

I second this. For whatever reason my converted sample test score was 7-8 points lower than my FL average, and 6 points lower than my FL1 score. I took FL1 four days after the sample test without any intensive content review/studying in between.

The Sample has no "conversion". Its unscored and was never scaled by the AAMC because its not supposed to be representative of the question types on the MCAT.
