Should I worry that I am applying late?

I just finished my DAT's about a week ago.

I have been working on my personal statement now, and I am planning to submit this weekend! My GPA is around a 3.5-3.6 for both science and overall. Should I be worried that I am applying relatively late compared to a lot of people on SDN? I have 100+ hours of shadowing and lots of involvement and leadership in extracurriculars along with volunteering. I am applying to 14 schools all around including all of the schools in Illinois because I am an Illinois resident. Let me know what you guys think!

youre not late terribly late if your transcripts are in line and youve got good numbers. Get your stuff sent in so you can rest easy and await your multiple interviews 🙂

Its easy to remember that SDN is full of the more anal of the anal. The pre dents who run to the internet flipping out for support tend to be gunners. Its easy to lose sight of the big picture here...

oh okay. yeah i am just worried because so many people said they submitted in early-mid june. My gpa isn't the greatest so I was kinda freaking out! Does anyone know how long it will take for them to verify my GPAs? My transcripts have already been received by aadsas along with my letters of rec. I just need to finish up my personal statement and e-submit.
