Hey Guys I Dont Know If I Should Worry. I Am In My Third Year Of Offshore Medical School And Am Doing Fine. But The Thing Is That I Had A Situation Of Academic Dismeanour In The Past But That Never Came Up In The Interview So I Never Talked About It, Although I Would Have Surely Brought Up The Matter If He Had Asked About The Incident. Well I Am Just Curious If I Should Worry About This Situation Now. Its Not A Criminal Offense So It Shouldnt Effect Me During Lisensure. Should I Continue To Keep My Record Clean Now And Not Worry Too Much On This Incident Now That I Am Already In. What Would You Guys Have Done In This Situation If You Were Me Although You Wouldnt Want To?

Definitely do not worry, if ever ask always tell the truth but I doubt if it ever will come up again. Good Luck

it's probably not a good idea making your name an sn.

ya it actually not my real name although its not far.

If you are talking about cheating in some form then you lied on your application and they could kick you out if they find out.

Thats my problem no where on the app asked if u had been disciplened or something of that sort so i didnt say so, nothing specific asked on interview too. The application had part asking if you had been dismissed so i put down a "NO". So there was no lieing on the application. Is that still not right.

Look as long as you do not lie then you are fine, its when you lie you will be in trouble. So I do not agree with everyone IMO.

If it is an academic issue it will show up on your transcripts from that school. Licensing boards do not (to my knowledge) ask for transcripts except for your medical school.

You will get questions on future applications for residency programs, state licensure, insurance credentialing, hospital privileges, national societies, etc asking about any professional, academic, state, federal, societal deficiencies and you must report this transgression at that point. Have a well worded single page ready to go. Describe what you did wrong, what action was taken, what action you took to ensure this would never happen again.

Does not pose a problem as long as you are honest when asked.
