so far this cycle i have received 3 interview invites (i have attended 1 and have yet to attend the others) and am complete at all my other schools....i don't know how i missed it, but i thought all of my mcat scores (3 takes) had been submitted but only the first actually was 😱

as soon as i saw this i contacted all of the schools via e-mail, gave them the unofficial scores, and had the mcat service release the scores again

my question is basically if i'm screwed or not (especially at the school i interviewed at, my top choice)

my first score was an uneven 29, my second score was a 25 🙁 but my third score was an evened out 29.....i don't think these other scores would have really changed if i received an interview or not at those schools, but do you think i will be ok?

any feedback would be much appreciated, i'm freaking out since none of the schools have responded to my e-mail

That's a frustrating situation. My guess is as good as yours but I think you did the right thing by contacting the schools. Maybe try giving them a call as well, if you've only emailed them (especially the school that you already interviewed you because the admissions committe may be meeting soon). I would imagine that if you were invited for an interview that they're thinking your MCAT score is acceptable anyways, so you're probably ok. Some of the schools I interviewed at said that once you have an interview they're not even going to look at your MCAT scores or grades anymore because you wouldn't have been invited to interview if they were not acceptable.

thanks for your input....i figure this won't hurt me for the schools that i have yet to receive an invite/actually interview at, as even though i dropped pretty bad the 3rd score was the best so far....i am very nervous about the school i already interviewed at, i can only pray that this won't hurt me....anyone have ANY sort of experience similar to this?

i have no idea if this will hurt you or not, but i think you acted in the proper way by telling the schools as soon as you found out....also, even though you had a low score, you picked it back up and your last test sounds like it was the best.....for all the schools that look at latest/highest scores, technically letting them know is an improvement it seems

ok, so i sent all of the schools e-mails and all of my scores are in the aacomas application, however my app was released to schools before these other scores were added.....do i have to do anything to have these "new" scores sent to schools or will aacomas update the schools for me?

thanks!
