*NOTE* This thread is being posted across 3 forums, but please only vote once!
There recently has been a broader push to promote diversity and inclusion in healthcare, as evidenced by recent publications from sources such as the AAMC: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Competencies Across the Learning Continuum . Several of these resources may be useful across multiple different groups who are underrepresented, including LGBTQ, ethnic/racial minorities, and women. While clearly there are distinct challenges for each of these populations, for simplicity of finding useful information would it make sense to combine these three forums into a single "Diversity and Inclusion in Healthcare" forum and add appropriate prefixes? Furthermore, maybe this would also help get some more robust discussions.
We wanted to get feedback from our users prior to making any decisions--so what do you think? Should we merge the LGBTQ, Underrepresented in Healthcare, and Women in Healthcare forums, or keep things separate?
Thanks for giving us your thoughts!
