I'm wondering if I should wait to ask for my rec letters after I have an OAT score, not sure if my recommenders will need it for the process?
Should you take the OAT before you ask for recommendation letter?

Don't think that's necessary. I didn't have to use my OAT score as a need for them to write me one since they based their LOR on relationship and experiences I had with them. Request a letter of rec as soon as possible. The earlier the better.
