showing a brief US experience

Hello all,


i have done my B.D.S.from India & come to US... right now m preparing for National boards & m pretty new to it....I read somewhere in between posts that u might have to show the brief experience in US too....so just wanted to know how to get that m in Bay area can I apply to university for that or am supposed to do it under some dentist...& what it is called (is it an observer ship).... I am a just pass out so don't have any experience from India to show (of course except 3rd yr final year & internship which may not count) M so confused & any help will really be appreciated
