SI reference interval - WTH?

So the lab values include the SI reference interval. For the life of me, I have no idea why they would put that on as I never use this. Does anyone use these values for their exams? If not, then what's the point of having it on there?

I'm gonna guess that they use SI units in Canada...😎
and probably many/most other places outside of the US too...
