I am. I have been so stressed out about checking my email, checking my snail mail, checking my phone messages, worrying about what adcoms think of me, worrying about whether or not I said the right things, that now I'm so jaded with the monotony of it all. I do still care but I figure that I've habituated myself to the anxiety of it all to the extent that I no longer "check" things as often or really care what adcoms think as much as I used to anymore. Maybe I'll get all worked up again come Dec. 1st? Who knows? What say you?

this is second time im going through this whole application process. and, trust me, i still check my email over and over again. for some reason, i feel as if ive made the same damn mistakes i made last year; above all, late applications! 😡
im seriously only aiming for any ONE dental school. i dont have much of a preference for any school, as long as it's good clinically.

You'd probably really like Temple. They're clinical work is off the charts, relatively speaking.

Just Got rejected my DAT is AA20 TS 23 PAT 17. I don't know what they are looking for.

I hope no one gets the psychological disorder Obsessive Compulsive Disorder from worrying too much about dental schools.

Just relax....and find your HOMIES and gossip about attractive, fertile, good-looking women (or men). 😀

Don't worry! If you are determined to become a dentist, I think eventually you WILL become one. I think the most important thing will be to NOT get discouraged... and if confronted by failure, just punch it in the face and try again until you succeed. 👍

I've just relaxed through the whole process. I know I want to be a dentist no matter what, so in the long run it doesn't matter how long it takes me to get there. If I don't get in, I'll reapply next year. In the meantime I'll work for or heavily shadow a dentist and get a lot of valuable experience.
Personally I think everyone on SDN stresses too much. But then again, I'me not really that worried about not getting in..

stats are not everything, a well rounded application is key, shadowing, working in school, life experiences, and applying early are just a few things out of many.

Yeah, I am sick of worrying. Three years of application fees = 👎
