hey any you guys have a recommendation for a good sicu book. notthing huge of course. or something handy thats good for call and/or quick references.

There is this book called "The ICU Book" Last one I saw had a blue cover. Good book to read regarding ICU management and concepts.

I don't understand why this is the bible. The blue is so so out of date. It seems like he just likes to rant about what not to do. Very little practical info.

Marik's green book on ebm in the icu is good for easy reading and tells you how to treat pts.

The new version of 'The ICU Book' is due in September according to amazon.com. I'm just gonna wait for it's release.
