Side effects on the boards?

Does anyone have any advice on how far to study drug side effects? All the cards and books have endless lists with lots of discrepancies between sources. Is it good enough to just memorize the classic adverse effects (ex/ andriamycin and cardiotoxicity)? Your advice will determine how much mind-numbing memorization goes into the next two months. Thanks.

The classics and the ones that are easily predicted from mechanisms of action

If it seems stupid to memorize, don't memorize it. If it sounds practical to know, it probably is.
