For those of us with an advanced match (July 2016):
- When should we anticipate receiving our contracts?
- When should we start paperwork for training license application for our advanced match?

Thanks!

When it shows up in the mail. And whenever the advanced program tells you to. Relax.

Ok... tough to relax when i'm not sure whether or not to expect papers and licensing application in the next few weeks/months or next year. Tough to commit to family summer vacation overseas, if am supposed to be expecting these papers! So... any clue? Now or next year? Don't want to bug my program.

Have you called them at all?

Its hardly bugging them if you call ONCE and explain that you will be out of the country from X date to X date and want to make sure there wasn't any paperwork etc that you would be required to complete during that period.

Ditto.

I was out of the country for 2 weeks between graduating medical school and starting residency. I called my program coordinator and our coordinators at both hospitals we rotate at, confirmed what I needed to get done, did everything I could ahead of time, and was accommodated at the one thing I had to push off until I got back. No big deal. You'd be in much worse shape if you didn't contact them.

Honestly, there are about 4000 (program) and 50 (state) answers to your question, so how on earth did you think we would no?
