For those who are applying/have applied to medical school and signed up for CASPer, were there any issues with sign-up? For example, did you get the time slot you signed up for? Also, could you postpone the test if needed? Were there any issues in general?

I'm asking because I remember signing up for the MCAT.

No, I didn't get the testing time I would have liked but everything was fine. Be ready to have an official document scan, like one of your driver's license.

And to type fast, I think half of getting through the test comfortably is being able to type >50 WPM

Could you elaborate on the sign up process? For example, when you signed up, were there a lot of slots available within the next week or two? So about how many weeks in advance did you have to sign up to get your desired sign up time? Thanks

I did it during June, and I bet this varies by time of year. But I signed up within the week, hardly an issue with scheduling. If you're nervous about this you can always make your account in advance and see the scheduling dates they offer you at any given time

It's easy to sign up. You just need to scan a photo ID or take a pic with your web cam of said ID. You're then prompted to a list of possible test dates and you sign up for one. I didn't reschedule mine but I imagine it's pretty easy to do so.
