Silence since september/october?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
So you were complete with secondaries late september/early october?? I mean by no means is it a deal breaker, but applying June 1st is night and day difference in terms of opportunities. Assume that you have already been rejected and start working on improving your application for next cycle. If you get interviews, terrific, if not then at least you were prepared by already prepping for next cycle. Apply June 1st with more volunteer, clinical, and shadowing. Idk what your stats were in those terms, but the least you could do is get some solid LOR's from DO docs between know and may. Good luck!

lots of volunteering/clinical/etc.. is too vague. give an approximate #, and what exact kind of volunteering - with people? in hospital? underserved? with animals? environmental? you could have a shortcoming in there.

w/ a 500 mcat i would have applied to more programs.

Scribe at primary care clinic for a yr. current technician at an ophthalmology practice. So prob like 1500+ clinical hours through working. Prob like 200+ clinical volunteering at hospital & another underserved clinic. Shadowed a few DOs like 30 hrs. Two do letters. Tutor for like a yr. & more but I’m replyibg to this on my phone at the gym

Hey I applied to about 6 schools in late september/early october and recently added 3 more schools which I just submitted the secondary for in late november. Should I be concerned I have literally haven't heard back from any besides ACOM which I was place in a waitlist for an ii? Stats: 3.89 cgpa, and 3.83 sgpa, and 500 mcat (above avg sciences, low cars). Lots of clinical hours, volunteering, and research hours. Also I am ORM.

I applied to: LECOM, VCOM, NSU, ACOM, WVSOM, PCOM GA. Just recently applied to UIWSOM, ARCOM, and KYCOM
Patience is a virtue!

This is a pretty good list of activities! But I would have applied to more schools.
