I have to clear this up for one of my classmates... 🙂

He was actually not told by the man giving the directions about the shot... hence they had to give him a prize of some sort because he actually did exactly as he was told. Let's be honest... if someone didn't get one of the shots and that was the whole story, would they actually give him anything?
