I have only taken the DAT one time. I do not plan to take the DAT again, and I have not said anywhere that I will be taking the DAT again.

I just want to verify that I am answering this question in the way I believe it is presented on ADA:

Have you taken the Dental Admission Test before?

My answer will be YES, and I will indicate the date.

1) In answering this way, my current scores will be sent to my chosen schools, correct?

2) In answering "yes" it is NOT implied that the schools will delay my application in order to wait for more recent scores (even though I am not taking the DAT a second time), correct?

Sorry if this is a mundane question, but my brain is going into overdrive recently, I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

I think I'm doubting questions because I want my application to go through without a hitch.

Thanks for the clarification. 😳

yes, that's correct. HOWEVER, you should check with each individual school that you will have applied to to make sure that they received your scores. many people (myself included) have ended up with more than one or two schools that won't have them, even though you designated them in your "free 5" or your $25 a pop. good luck!

Thanks so much for the insight!

I'll be sure to double check with the schools to make sure they received my scores.
