Silly question: Can I have music playing while taking CasPer? Not headphones, just ambient?

When I've taken proctored online tests in the past the proctor "takes over your computer" remotely for a second and makes sure that all of your other apps are closed and has you point your webcam around to see if anyone is with you so I'd imagine they'd tell you to turn it off just in case someone is trying to tell you how to be ethical smh

Haha me too - think most schools are still in pilot mode so don't think the test will have that much of an impact

My state school has used it for at least one other cycle, so maybe they’re done piloting it. 🙁

But I think I did fine.

I don't remember which school, but someone on the SDN rumor mill stated that one of the schools has implemented it in to their interview scheduling process. Only the top third of scorers got interview invites...Might just be hearsay, but who knows? Good luck to all, hopefully anxiety is on the DL.

I think you’re fine. They need more than a few years of data. Really it will be more useful like 10 years down the line when they determine “oh this surgeon that killed a bunch of people got 10th percentile on CASPer... shouldn’t have accepted him!”

Just rewatched the good place and when I was taking the practice run thru you could definitely tell because I wrote "Ethnically" instead of "ethically" like 8 times. That's a typo to fix for sure haha

That was my feedback. Literally just wrote “the acting was terrible” and called it a day lol.

Although, question about ‘think of a time you were a leader’ popped up, yo my military/NCO brain kicked in and I gave the most on point answer. “A good leader is on who inspires confidence in their subordinates. If I can ensure success out of those beneath me, then that reflects on my success as a leader.”
