manilla envelope or just regular white envelope to send the 2ndaries back?

I used a regular white envelope for the ones I've sent out thus far, but our school requested manilla folders for the letters of rec, etc.

If it's just a check/certification form, use a white envelope. If it's a 2nd copy of a supplemental you submitted online, (like with Hopkins i think), then you should send a manila envelope..

I've been using white. I doubt it matters unless the school specifies.
