I'm thinking of going to SGU for vet....and I have a terrible fear of spiders....how bad is it down there??

LOL. I know the island of St. Kitts has these huge centipedes that can eat rabbits, so who knows about spiders. :scared:

i can only speak for dorm living right now (i move off campus next semester). The biggest problem we have is with ants!! They are everywhere....kitchen, bathroom sink....in the shower!!! We have ant traps but it doesn't seem to help. I haven't seen one spider in the dorms, although a friend off campus loves to talk about the spiders she has seen in her apartment (almost golf ball size!!). I think no matter where you go in the caribbean you will encounter bugs....just buy some heavy duty bugspray and a durable bug swatter!!

i had a huge problem w/ mosquitoes. All 4 of my limbs suffered innumerable bites and I was constantly itchy. Beware!
