I just finsihed d/l the sample DAT and OAT, and some questions are identical. One passage is the same aswell....why is this ? I thought the DAT was suppose to be harder then the OAT ?

thanks

I heard that Oat, dat, and Pcat and any other standardize exams were all about the same level of diffcultly. Its the MCATS that everyone have trouble with. Thats suppose to be the hardest one I believe...
Yes Oat have physics. DAT is the only standardize test without physics.

yeah the DAT substitutes physics w/ the PAT..or as I like to call it...the worlds cruelest mind game.

👍 This allows us to focus more on organic chem. I didnt think the PAT was that bad, I would MUCH rather do it than physics.

Really?? most people I know think the PAT was the hardest section!! I think the national average for the PAT was the lowest (reading the highest) b/c most people don't understand that crap! lol.. Reading and PAT was the hardest section for me...

Not me...I've always been good at physics..and oddly enough, really crappy at math (go figure)..I personally would have liked physics instead of a QR section. I mean hell, physics is required to get into dschool..but not on the DAT. Oh well..it's over and done with...not my problem anymore:laugh:

The non-Physics/PAT sections of the OAT and DAT are so similar to one another that Kaplan actually mixes their OAT and DAT classes together. There were a few OAT students in my DAT class who mysteriously disappeared when we started discussing the PAT.
