Me and my friend are bio-medical engineers who currently work on a tool to simplify arthroscopic surgeries, however, we don't want to make something that is utterly useless.
Our idea is to make it possible for the surgery to be done through a single incision alone and not 2 like it is now.
We ask: Do you think this might help you in any way? inserting the arthroscope and the graspers (or other surgical tools) through the same port instead of two?
We think that some arthroscopic procedures might be quicker that way and also cause less post-operative pain for the patient, but we want to hear your opinion.
