so the Kaplan online lessons and Cliff say that B-cells are develped in bone merrow. but the destroyer mentions that B-cell is developed in fetal liver and spleen. what is this about. can anyone explain?

I think in adult is red bone marrow...in fetal is the liver..(depends the question mentions adult or fetal)

yea in the fetus it develops in the spleen and liver as well as RBC, but in an adult human the RBC and B-cells are developed in red bone marrow (RBC are actually developed in the axial skeleton of an adult)

🙂 glad to see you are answering questions after you DAT. congrat. again and good luck for your interviews. 👍

adult: rbc are devloped in the bone marrow and can be stored in the spleen. they are broken down into bile pigments/salts in the liver

fetus: rbc developed in the liver =)
