Hey guys! Who's going to be in the sixth batch with me?

Just finished my personal statement, that took long enough. I submitted today, and it was also verified today. So it looks like either the verification process is speeding up or there weren't any changes they needed to make to my listed coursework (my grades weren't +/- so that makes it simple for them.)

Let's keep each other posted on application status, interviews, etc! 🙂

Nope, I was in the 4th batch! At that point it took about 10 days or so for verification lol but I am glad things are speeding up now 🙂

Only four for sure right now. I will add more before Friday, and probably get up to eight.

Make sure to add them by Wednesday night if you want them in the current batch because on Thursday morning/through out the day, they prepare the apps for mailing.

I have submitted my application last wednesday and my gpa was verified last friday. But one of my LORs is not received yet (I have a committee letter and a LOR from a dentist, but the one from the dentist is not received yet), is AADSAS going to wait until all the LORs are received?
I took a month to write my personal statement and I feel bad about me having submitted so late. I am kinda desperate to send my app this batch...

Cynical Debbie Downer much? Yes, we're not early... but that doesn't mean we're late either. It's still August for goodness' sake. Predent36, just get those secondaries in soon, and then your file will be complete 🙂 First batchers are right where we are if they haven't submitted their secondaries at the schools that require it. Still plenty of pre-Dec interviews at the schools I'm looking at. I don't see any reason to worry...

I was hoping my application would go out this week but it appears the registrar sent my transcripts without the last semester grades. I got a message from AADSAS to get an updated transcript which will probably take another two weeks to get it there and verified if I am lucky. Oh well, nothing I can do now but wait.

I didn't realize you could do all of that beforehand so I waited for my DAT scores before doing my AADSAS app (should have been on this site a long time ago!). I requested them from my schools (4 of them🙄) on 7/24, called all of them and they all say they were sent out on 7/25, but still nothing in AADSAS, starting to get nervous. Hopefully this isn't a big learning experience for next year!!

I actually requested mine forever ago in June. It took a week and a half until my school finally sent them, then maybe another week-ish until they showed up on aadsas. If yours were mailed on the 25th, it sounds like they should be in by the end of this week or early next week.

Figure it takes about 3-5 days in the mail and then possibly 10 days for AADSAS to process (depending how busy &/or many transcripts you sent).

My mailing date changed to 8/3! I'm so happy I'm in the sixth batch for sure. I got everything except PS in before July, but I was having a lot of trouble with the PS and finally submitted it on Monday. GPA verified on Wednesday. Now I just have to start working really hard on secondaries... 😛

Hey there! So when you're on the AADSAS portal online, on the right under "My Application Status" go to "Dental School Designations." You'll find it there 🙂

I E-submitted on Aug 1st and have received 4 secondaries already on August 3rd? I wasn't expecting any of that until like 2 weeks from now? Anyone else get secondaries already?

Yes, I did. When I called ADEA AADSAS, they said that our applications would be available to the schools electronically ten days from when I submitted, but I guess not! I'm not complaining though. How many schools did you apply to? Good luck on those secondaries 🙂

Just wanted to bump this thread and see if anything exciting is happening with my fellow 6th batchers.
As for me... I have no interviews yet.. just a bunch of app complete emails.
Everyday has been a disappointment so far =/

I see. We have a few schools in common. Just wanted to list them for everyone else in 6th batch to see...

NYU - app complete email on 8/17
Temple - haven't sent me anything since that "app received" email on 8/3 =/
Columbia - "receipt of fee" email on 8/16
BU - "supp app + fee received" email on 8/12

I'm starting to worry... I wonder if anyone from 6th has gotten interviews.. really hoping to hear back from some schools soooon
