So I've been really good about going to _every single_ lecture thus far, but I've also been falling behind in all the independent study exercises and practice quizzes we are supposed to be doing.

tomorrow, our biochem lectures are on macro and micronutrients....that sounds like a regurgitation of 7th grade health class with some basic digestion biochem thrown in. Highly skippable, right? I'd rather spend the time catching up on previous stuff I don't know, like enzyme kinetics!

Just making sure...

btw, I promise to stop posting annoying questions like these on this forum....I'm just sort of overwhelmed--not so much at the content--but at how well my classmates seem to be keeping up. They are studying every day and seem to really know their ****.

I, on the other hand, am used to feeling overwhelmed and behind from undergrad, plus everything we're learning is review for me (aside from anatomy) so I feel like it's "OK" if I'm a few weeks behind. I was wrong, but anyway...here I am.

I almost universally skip the lectures on communication. "Joining" with the patient, and sharing their "lifeworld" are waaaay to newagey-bs for me not to hurl. And that would be a shame, because I like our lecture hall.

The only other one I skipped was one on cell bio. I slipped out after the (very boring) lecturer started his spiel talking of "the subtle elegance of mitochondrial function". I **** you not.

Every lecture is highly skippable. Everyone should try it for a block.

I try it ones and it didn’t work so good for me ….. I think coz I wasted the time I spouse to be catching up lec ...zzzZZzZzZZzz

But believe me it felt so good
