Will being a certified skydiver help or hinder my application?

Would they consider me a risk if i mention its a hobby of mine or will they like it because it shows I'm willing to take risks?

Add it or leave it off?

Def mention it. It's not like they are paying millions to attend their school or providing you with life insurance. ITs a sure way to stick out from the crowd

I would mention it, but don't expect it to work wonders for you. If you could correlate skydiving with your passion for dentistry would be pretty cool, but like you said....It's just a hobby.

Shrug, I mentioned motorcycle riding because I could link it to balance and coordination. Maybe skydiving = remaining calm under pressure? haha 😛 I'm giving up bikes when I move for dental school though. Totally not worth risking my future anymore :-/
