Slight Problem

Well I interviewed yesterday at LECOM, and was also notified that my application wasn't complete. Apparently one of my science professor letters did not arrive. I get home and contact the professor, which tells me that the letter was supposedly sent out several weeks before. The professor said that she was going to resend it today. My question is if this will delay my decision at all (which is suppose to be sent in 3-4 weeks), and will it affect it at all? This is so frustrating, because if the first didn't arrive naturally I am going to worry about the second. 😡 thanks for any input to my situation

I would call the school and notify them that the letter will be RE-sent, and ask if this delay will negatively affect you. I would call the school asap so you don't freak out about it all wknd.

well, I did just call them and notify them that it was being resent. They said that it may delay the results from being sent like a week or so . As far as anything negative, don't know! so guess I just freak out until then.

Other than the letter not arriving, how was your interview? I'm interviewing Monday. Did you post interview feedback?

The interview went alright I guess. If ya looked over the interview feedbacks you should have a good handle on the questions, because they are indentical! It was overall a good experience, and everyone was really nice. Just hope that you don't get stuck with the one interviewer I had, who did not make it easy on me. Other than that guy second guessing me, it went smoothly ! Let me know how your interview turns out

i don't think the letter thing will be a problem. sometimes lost in the mail actually happens. schools deal with enough letters to know that.

Second guessing??? doesn't sound like fun. I've looked over the feedbacks pretty well and printed off my resume and other stuff for the interviewers. Here's hoping!

(btw, just got an interview invite w/ KCOM, so I have a little less pressure on me this Monday at LECOM)

yeah, an M.D. was one of my interviewers. He questioned some of my answers as to their usefullness in allopathy as well as osteopathy. Generally making it sound like I was saying certain things were unique to osteopathy, when thats not what I was saying at all.
