Hi everyone. I wanted to ask about the etiquette regarding asking about SLOE updates. I've finished three audition rotations (one back in March) and none of them have posted on ERAS yet. I realize we have about a week and a half left before ERAS opens. What is reasonable when it comes to calling student coordinators asking about when the SLOE will post, and when should I do that?

I'm in a similar situation, been over 6 weeks now since I finished the one I am waiting on. I think most writers are aware of the importance of getting these done before sep 15. I plan on giving a call about a week before ERAS opens if I don't see anything.

Same situation here with two SLOEs. It seems this is not uncommon. I haven't been too worried about it, because I am sure they know we need it by the 15th.

They all know when you need it. I've also heard from multiple program directors that the 15th doesn't matter as much as October 1st because a lot of programs wait to offer invites until MSPE's are released.

Hey SDN world, is it in poor taste to call your home program about when they think they might be able to upload your SLOE...it's been 2 months already and it's getting kind of close to the 15th?

Just call or email them. Its just a gentle nudge

It's been 5 months for one of mine and 2 for another. I think I will send an email either tomorrow or Friday, because I have zero SLOEs uploaded at this point.

Hate to revive this thread, but what if we are still waiting on a SLOE from an August rotation now. Was initially told it would be in by 9/15, then by 10/1, but still nothing. An email to the CD yesterday was not returned. What should/can I do at this point?

P.S. I know that the other students from Aug are still waiting as well, so its not just me.

If no one has responded to e-mail I would give them a call, especially if you need the letter to complete your app. It sounds like they have blown two important deadlines they gave you, and I think becoming more insistent is reasonable at this point.
