SLOE from new residency programs?

Is it okay to get an SLOE from new residency programs? They are supposed to take classes starting 2018 and i have a rotation with them coming up. My home institution does not have their own EM program so i had to look elsewhere.

This would be my first very SLOE as well, if that matters.

Yes. With the caveat that the readers of said SLOE (other programs) will not have a track record with new programs to know how to read / how much they trust them. It would be in your best interest, I think, to also have at least one SLOE from an established program.

I have another rotation in august for the second SLOE, and another in november for a third.
But do you think the november one is too late?

Some people have told me most of their interviews came around october/november.

Some people have told me most of their interviews came around october/november.

The November one might be too late to get invites, but it will likely help during ranking.

Some people have told me most of their interviews came around october/november.

You're not likely to get new invites from a SLOE in November - it might help in ranking, particularly at that program but most interview this cycle went out from early october - early november.
