So, I noticed I am really really slow when it comes to PAT. Especially Keyholes, TFE, and (Pattern folding if it's the dice the almighty )

I can say I have seen all the strategy videos for now and I started practicing on generators.
Finished keyhole for pat academy but didn't do the TFE yet there.

I started using generators about a week ago.

So I can say I am exposed to all of them, but each section I practiced almost 4 to five times.
I spend around 2 hours each day on PAT.

My question is, are there people who were very slow and got faster in this section?

Yeah, I kinda wanna hear success stories.

You can definitely get faster with practice! I haven't taken my DAT yet but I got a 20 on my first two PAT practice tests and was running out of time towards the end. Practicing with the generators and developing my own strategies (modifying preexisting strategies) helped a lot especially with timing. The last two PAT tests I took I got a 25 and 24 respectively with 9 minutes to spare, a huge improvement from the first couple.

Great improvement. How much time passed until you noticed improvement and How much time do you practice each day?

Also, best of luck on your coming DAT, hope you get great scores 🙂

There is a trick for Hole Punching section. I usually get around 9 minutes after watching this video:
Do you try Crack the DAT PAT? I found it is very helpful for Key Hole, Angle Ranking, and Pattern Folding, and Cube Counting.
For TFE I read through this post on DAT Genius: Top Front End Strategy | DAT Genius
Hope this helps🙂

I was very slow on almost all of them starting out, but once you start practicing you will get a lot faster. There are certain sections you can eventually become extremely quick in (cube counting, hole punching, and angles on the real test) that give you a lot of leftover time to work out the more challenging questions in the other sections that can require more work. I got a lot better at PAT over time once I started practicing it regularly.

Thank you! I just hope that I don't mess up on the RC and bio section!
It didn't take too long for me to notice a big improvement on the PAT, a little over two weeks I would say. Focusing and working on two sections of the PAT a day worked better for me for some reason. Which sections of the PAT are you specifically struggling with?

Practice as often as possible. On my very first DAT Bootcamp test, I ran out of time and ended up with a 16. After 3 months of practicing daily, I averaged 24 on the remaining PAT tests, and got a 28 on the real thing. You'll get it, it just takes time and persistence! 🙂
