that was me that called maryland and if you think about it, right now is when a # of schools are orienting the new class and finalizing all that stuff so looking at a big pile of applications is probably the last thing on their minds, chill for a couple weeks and we'll start hearing from them
You know what. Last year, I applied to Boston around this time of year. I didn't hear a single word from them except for that they received my application and will be in touch. Fast forward to today, I finally get a letter in the mail... saying that I've been rejected. Talk about slow. 😛
VCU sent me an e-mail asking for $70 the other day.

yea i got a blank email from BU w/ the subject line "Admission Recieved" or something.. how dumb
i havent heard from Boston or VCU either....i sent my 70 bones to VCU shortly after i e-submitted my app. 😎

Maryland, on the other hand, sent me a postcard telling me to pay up the $65 processing fee, along with sending in my official DAT score, though I'm re-taking it.

I called Maryland today and this is what they said. First, everything will be sent out by e-mail. They will send you a postcard if they are missing your DAT scores or Application Fee. For now, they are only sending out those postcards. If everything is sent, then we just have to wait until we get the secondary e-mail.
I got an email from maryland. just saying they would contact me if they needed anything else for my application and that it was moving onto the admissions committee.
