I lived in San Diego and was offer an interview from SLU. In the e-mail it asked us to pick a date to have a regional interview in Los Angeles. I am wondering if the regional interview is bad in the sense that I will not have a chance to personally visit Saint Louis and the SLU campus. Would the on campus interview be better if i have a choice? Thank you

I actually got an invite today as well, and was offered the regional interview too (I'm living in LA). I chose to interview in St. Louis because how on earth can you pick a school without seeing the facilities, meeting the students/faculty/staff, etc? If you could see yourself at St. Louis U I would recommend traveling out there to check it out.

It's not a detriment to your admission chances to do a regional interview. I would not worry about checking out the area unless you end up with multiple acceptances. If money is no object, then by all means go to St Louis and check it out in person along with your interview.
