Well I thought that it would be a decent program to go through. Good, knowledgeable staff there without any big names. It is a university based program. The residents (about 3-4 per year) all seemed fairly happy. My impression was that about 25% of the residents were FMG. The daily conferences there were well done and they seemed to have a decent budget for equipment for the residents. All of them had BX-50 Olympus microscopes. My only complaint would have been the small size of the resident's room and the presence of only one computer in the room. Overall, I had a positive experience rotating through as a med student. I would probably have gone there if I hadn't gotten picked up by the military out of med school HPSP. (I was going to be staying in St. Louis- at the wife's insistence- and Wash U/BJC sounds like they beat and torture their residents)
