I remember seen a thread about this program earlier and I figured maybe someone on here would have an answer to my question. On the website it says that to get into this program you have to be a freshman or sophomore at the time you apply. I am about to start my second year of college but due to AP credits and some dual credit courses I had in HS I will be classified as a junior by my university based on the number of hours I've been given credit for. Does that mean I'm ineligible for this program?

I was in the same situation last year. I was in my second year but standing wise I was a junior. It shouldn't be a problem because I was accepted and attended SMDEP at UW.

I am currently in one of the programs, and at the end of this past semester I had 88 credit hours (including 21 from AP classes). It was not a problem for me.

Nice...Thanks. What were you guys' stats when you applied?

4.00 GPA in a public university's honors program, but many people here have around a 3.2-3.3, so don't worry if your GPA isn't perfect.
