Hello all, I am in need of some advice and would appreciate some input. I recently applied both MD/DO for the 2015 cycle and received one wait list but no acceptances. Instead of only reapplying I decided to fill this upcoming year with a SMP and so far I have been accepted to 3 programs with a few pending.

Acceptances: Tulane Medical school masters of Anatomy 1 year program
Tulane Medical school masters of Immunology/Microbiology 1 yr
William Carey (D.O.) MBS one year program

Pending: Drexel pathway to medical school program
Lincoln Memorial MS
VCOM post bacc program
Mercer MS preclinical sciences
Nova Southeastern MS

I am still on the waiting list at AZCOM and hoping that will work out and this will all be moot but if that is not the case, which of these programs do you think will provide the best chance for medical school? I am leaning heavily towards Tulanes MS in anatomy currently. Has anyone reading this been through any of these programs?

Also I have an interview with SABA medical school soon. Though the idea of a Caribbean school kind of stresses me out. I will go if that is my only option (as I currently work with a few Carib. Med grads in the ER in NY) but I would MUCH prefer to stay in the US for reasons of scary attrition rates and residency difficulties.

Thank you for taking the time to give me your thoughts and best of luck to anyone else out there working hard!

Thank you @gonnif

William Carey's program boasts an 80% acceptance rate to Professional schools after completion of the program.

Tulane's ACP program's acceptance rate to Tulane Medical school is in the high 90% as far as I know but there is no data online regarding their newer MS in anatomy (which I am accepted to). I will call and gently try to nudge this information out of them. I read that they are attempting to make, "the MS program as successful as the ACP," has been in the past but who knows.
