hey guys,

for the application to GT, did you send your amcas by mail? take out the list of schools? and also, are we supposed to upload CV?
so is it the application itself, transripts, released mcat scores and AMCAS? am i missing anything?

I actually sent a copy of my AMCAS via USPS -along with my 2x2 pic - AND I uploaded a digital copy on the application... gotta keep them bases covered. Similarly, I uploaded my resume (in all its brevity) and a writing sample. While I'm not sure all of these are required I figured they wouldn't hurt.

For the Online part I did not include any writing sample other than my uploaded amcas. I did not upload a CV or even do the essay for online. I told them to look at my amcas personal for it.

TO send by mail just include your amcas printed out (I included the schools I applied to ..i dont think they care), transcripts in sealed envelopes from my undergrad and graduate school. A "official printout" of my mcat, a sweet picture, and the application itself.

strangely enough, not only did i not send a photo of myself, i also did not write my name/social on the top of each amcas page, nor did i fasten them all together. i also sent them no resume or writing sample (if you contact them, they'll let you know that these are not required.) i was accepted a few days after my app was complete. so if you have strong credentials, don't sweat it too much.

thanx but i tend to always not follow directions, i came to the mcat w/o a pictures, luckily i lived running distance from the testing center.
